Christmas in Chicago

After we finished having Christmas with the boys, we left to spend Christmas in Chicago with Remii's family. Remii has one brother who is in the Navy. They haven't seen him for two year and he came home this year for Christmas. It was great to finally meet him. We opened presents and then the boys left the next day for Minnesota to visit their grandpa. So that meant "girl time" for me and Remii's mom. Remii's mom is such an amazing person. I have never met someone so genuine and willing to serve and help others the way she does. We spent our "girl time" collecting food and delivering it to those that are in need. And on our night that we we weren't doing service and delivering food to different families, we went to the temple for an endowment session and followed by sealings. There wasn't a whole lot of relaxing that went on for us, but we sure did have a great time together. I will be so lucky to be apart of such a great family!

On our way out of Chicago, me and Remii wanted to spend some time in the city. We went to the Navy Pier. A guy proposed to his girlfriend while we were taking this picture. It was cute.
You can't go to Chicago without getting a pizza from Giordano's Pizza. I am definitely going to be doing major damage control at the the gym this week for this, but it was worth it!
